We're Fur-real Ready for Fall

While there is still a month left of summer here in Los Angeles, we cannot help but think of the upcoming fall season and the major fashion its bringing ahead. One of the trends we saw all over the runway is fur, both real and faux. Think Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel Fall 2010 RTW with models in head-to- toe fur.

(Chanel, Fall 2010 RTW, Via Style.com)

Meanwhile, other designers incorporated fur into their collection with intricate and detailed pieces whether its on shoes, bags, jackets. There were fur-real major hints of fur everywhere!

(Clockwise from left: Derek Lam, Dries Van Noten, Alberta Ferreti, Fendi via style.com)

From this trend, we decided to dig deep and search within the Purse Factory as to how we can incorporate fur into our wardrobe this fall. Though we don't necessarily have the guts and means to wear fur head to toe, we can do subtle hints of fur and turning it into one huge major fashion statement!

We love the simplicity of this black pony handbag. Its simplistic look makes it a piece that's definitely timeless. It can go with pretty much anything in your closet, take it from day to night. Its fur-ready for you!

Our other pick is on another level! It has the right amount of fur and can take any look from simple to edgy. We love the details on the pocket, handle, and even on the side! You can hold this bag on different angles and it will show how fur-tastic it is! (Last fur-joke, I promise!)

Here are some of our other favorites from Charlie's design! Fur-tastic right? Can't get enough of the Arese handbag, so obsess with it!

Besides fur, we're also diggin the fact that the fifties are back! Check back another time for another fall trend feature! Which fall trends are you looking forward to?

As always, make sure to catch up with us daily over on facebook and twitter! Until next time!

BOTW: Bag of the Week

Its our favorite day in this office, Bag of the Week day! We love doing this post since its our chance to share with you our favorite bags in this little purse factory. Today our favorite manager/model wore a comfortable on the go outfit of black and gray. So to perk up her outfit and give it a little punch of color we chose this purple metallic tote.

With the twisted handles, snake print leather, rivets and lots of pockets it gives her outfit a touch of the rocker, with the necessary space for any women on the go.The outside has a zipper pocket on top of a larger slip pocket for any loose piece of paper plus pockets for your cellphone and make up on the inside it makes it a perfect work bag as well as being incredibly stylish

With this bad girl chic bag she is ready to go straight from the office to a night on the town! For more pictures of our picks, check us over on facebook!

Theme Resturants Done Hollywood Style

If you have been keeping up with Charlie's travels ( Charlie's Hong Kong Trip ), you may have seen the photos of a theme restaurant in Hong Kong that we particularly found amusing. It is called Modern Toilet, and features dishes served in toilet bowls and toilets as seats in the restaurant as well! Well we may have found this a bit odd and funny in from our L.A. perspective but we found some great theme restaurants right here in Los Angeles! Here is our top list of L.A. theme Resturants.~

The Toilet Restaurant in Hong Kong.

“The Proud Bird” (Nostalgic get away to see Fighter Planes in World War II era and take the modern view of the final approach route to runway 25L at LAX. What an experience with the scenic atmosphere!)
The Proud Bird Restaurant is right by Los Angeles International Airport over looking the final approach route to runway 25L and it is themed with World War II Era Planes settings. It is the brilliant old days meet the modern day Aviation goodness! You will see old fighter planes position around the complex as you are entering the restaurant. This exciting restaurant is one of a kind and artifacts is about to take you back in time. This restaurant is good with big groups and great with brunch. It also has decent reviews on CitySearch Los Angeles and on Yelp!

Awesome Fighter Planes in Front of the Restaurant.

“Opaque “(The Total dine in the Dark experience)
The Opaque is positioned in Santa Monica’s V Lounge and after dinner you can enjoy night life at club/bar area. This restaurant is in pitch black setting which enhances your sense of taste, smell, touch, and sound. The guests will be guided and served by blind or visually impaired individuals that have been specially trained to serve meals in the dark, casually and comfortably offer guidance and to reassure sighted guests. It is interesting and exciting to dine in the dark because this is brand new adventure to almost anyone. The Opaque restaurant is definitely worth a try once in your life time. It has high ratings on Yelp! and on CitySearch Los Angeles.

BOTW: Bag of the Week

Hello! The showroom might as well be called the purse factory since its filled with so many amazing handbags. Frankly, we felt a little too selfish to keep it all to ourselves, so we decided that each week, Team Charlie will be showcasing one of his designs for you readers to see and in the words of Rachel Zoe "DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE" over them just like we did over here in the office!

We couldn't help but drool over this bag! It has lots of space, perfect for those of you who love to stuff everything into their purse. Team Charlie can't get enough of the detailed print and design. Its sweet enough in the daytime and ridiculously bad-ass for the evening. Check out our one and only Linsey with the bag and how it adds just enough edge to her sweet outfit. Rocker-chic, yes?

Be sure to check-in next week, for our pick next week. For now, we'll leave you to drooling over this bag! As always, check us over on facebook and read up on our daily adventures on twitter!

xoxo,

Team Charlie

If you have noticed since Charlie’s London trip he has continued on to Hong Kong, China, and now Tokyo! As Charlie goes from meeting to meeting he’s seen the eclectic street style Tokyo is famous for. If you’re interested in seeing photos of his trip go to www.facebook.com/charlielapsonstyle.
This past week we posted on our facebook page the blue eye shadow trend that we love that is going on in LA. It turns out that this hot trend with makeup is common with the young fashionable women of Tokyo; it’s called the “Gunguro look”.

It seems to be popular mainly with the teens in Japan as well as other fashionably inclined. Achieving the look is not just a simple application of blue eye shadow to your eyelids, there’s much more. Due to the tanning trend that also exists in Tokyo, girls apply a heavy amount of blue eye shadow or even white to make their tan pop out even more. In Tokyo, tanning is very popular with Japanese culture, so adding a bright eye shadow embraces the tan even more. It doesn’t just stop there, to accent the eyes stick -on lame beads are added. To complete this look you also need many layers of pale lip stick, TONS of mascara, and false eyelashes. Once you’re done with your face you should attach extremely bright hair extensions to your hair such as pink or blue. All you need is a trip to the UK

How's everyone dealing with this ridiculous heat in LA? Make sure to stay hydrated with lots of liquids! While we've been trying to stay cool on this side of the world, across the pond Charlie got to enjoy milder weather while in London.

Charlie visited London a few weeks ago and had a blast! The United Kingdom is so gorgeous and there's so many things to see like Belsize Park, Bond Street, and many other London spots. Of course Charlie got lots of inspiration photos from his surroundings to show all of us back home.

Besides seeing all the hot spots, Charlie got down to business and filmed for QVC UK. He filmed for his QVC segment and showcased his newest handbag collection, all of which were an instant hit! Check out the clip from his show. His handbags are available for purchase through QVC UK.

He also got to meet up with one of UK's biggest fashion bloggers, Emma of Forbesstyle. It looks like there was an instant connection between the two! Read all about it on Emma's diary!

(艾瑪(英國最大的時尚部落格專欄作家) 跟查理 萊普森的包包還有與查理本人的合照!)

For the rest of the photos, make sure to check out our facebook! Next post, we'll fill you in on Charlie's adventures in Asia. Check back with ya'll soon!
(上有更多英國之旅的照片 大家可以去看看! 下次我們會讓你們知道更多相關於查理 萊普森亞洲之行的大冒險. 請敬請期待!)

Until next time! (下次見!)
