What You Need to Know Now.

Per usual, its been hectic here at the Charlie Lapson showroom. We've been meaning to update you on many different things but it's been busy from one event to the next. Today we thought we'd just do a quick update of what we've been up to. Next week, we should be back to our normal programming!

• Remember Compassion for Fashion? One of Charlie's mantras is to always give back. Compassion for Fashion is an organization that Charlie is developing highlighting the ways in which celebrities and others in the industry can give back. Just in time for the Emmy's, Reality Cares held an event that celebrities and designers attend that raised awareness for different charities. Charlie donated signed merchandise to be auctioned off to benefit Breast Cancer Care and Creative Coalition.Different designers also outfitted and styled celebs that attended the event for the upcoming red carpet. Charlie also did interviews with the attendees about what charities they support for the Compassion for Fashion organization. Pictured below is the lovely Carolyn Hennesy on the right, star of "General Hospital" and "Cougar Town" during the Reality Cares event during her Compassion for Fashion interview.

• As mentioned, the 2010 Emmys took place a few weeks ago marking that Awards Season has officially started. Besides the Reality Cares event we participated in, Charlie of course got to dress a few celebrities. Remember the lovely Stacey Tookey from this post? Then, the beautiful Sandra Vidal was wearing a few of Charlie's designs as her choice of accessory. Besides helping style celebrities, Charlie himself got to attend the main event which we here in the office are all jealous about.

• Currently, Charlie and a few of the team members are in New York working for fashion week, expect to see a post on all things he did over on the east coast next week!
