As part of the Charlie Lapson showroom staff, we feel so fortunate to be located in the heart of the Fashion District in Downtown Los Angeles.  We’ve decided to start off our very first post with a trendy lounge located close by in Hollywood.

Bardot

Named as one of the most romantic bars in Southern California, Bardot is the epitome of vintage Hollywood glamour. The food served at Bardot has been described as “promiscuous dining”. Young Hollywood celebs such as Jessica Alba, Natalie Portman, and Paris Hilton have all been spotted here.

Going to Bardot for an exciting night?  Make sure you dress the part as each night is themed and feature surprise guest musical performances from such celebs as DJ Ryan Gosling. Bardot is a high-energy mix of Motown, Electro, and Indie beats. If you venture downstairs to the patio area, you’ll be in a spectacular world of intimate live acts—Burlesque dancers, Jazz musicians, and Indie darlings performances. For the best seat in the house, bottle service on the moonlit patio is the best way to go.

Bardot is a scene from a Hollywood fantasy world. The door can be tough, but unlike other elite spots around town, the vibe inside is surprisingly laid-back. The best bet for a hassle free line is to make reservations for a late small-plates dinner then stay on for the show.

Seductive, intriguing and intimate in short are the best words to describe this hidden gem. Bardot is Hollywood's newest hotspot, capturing the spirit of this city’s glamorous history, and definitely a roarin’ newcomer to the LA scene.
