NINJA New York

Sick of the typical wine and dine outing? If you happen to be in New York, check out NINJA New York for a one of a kind dining experience. The menu at NINJA features both traditional Japanese and fusion dishes, offering a wide range selection for those in the mood for a little taste of Japan.

What takes NINJA beyond being just a restaurant is their theme. The interior is designed to represent a “NINJA castle of the feudal days,” with a maze-like layout and intimate rooms for seating. If that doesn’t spark your interest already, watch out for any waiters (dressed as ninjas of course) that might pop out of secret trap doors and give you a show along with your meal.

Dishes marked as a “Ninja art dish,” come with a little entertainment as your Ninja waiters will perform some special effects table-side when your food arrives. The unexpected entertainment and cool ambience is what earned this New York establishment (branched off from the original NINJA located in Akasaka, Tokyo Japan) a spot on the Travel Channel’s Extreme Restaurants.

If you’re ever in the mood for both a dinner AND a show, all at the same time, this is the place to go. You’re sure to be captured by the food and experience… after all, you are dining within a NINJA castle.
